Students on a trip

It is one of the highlights of every archaeology degree programme: the major field trip in the master's programme. This year, the students of pre- and protohistoric archaeology at the University of Göttingen went from Travemünde to the Baltic States. Before the future scientists boarded the ferry, they had the opportunity to learn first-hand from the underwater archaeologist of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck, Felix Rösch, about the wreck find.
