Mizzen mast

After the mast shoe of the main mast came to light two days ago, the mast shoe of a second mast in the stern of the wreck was also uncovered. It is probably the mount for a mizzen mast.

Thus, the Hanseatic ship originally had at least two masts. A third mast in the bow, the foremast, is also likely. However, this cannot be proven directly, since the stem and a mast shoe that could potentially be located here are no longer preserved. In the course of the scientific evaluation, however, this question will be clarified.
