Bow exposed

The exposure work progresses. In the last few days, the diving team has been able to expose the bow, where, however, considerably less wood has been preserved than at the stern. On the video you can see the keel, which ends flat. This is where the stem used to be, which gave the bow its shape. You can also see two recesses in the keel, where iron clamps, in this case the so-called fishplates, were originally attached to connect the keel to another timber to strengthen it. The two timbers projecting parallel to the keel are the foremost frames.
