Salvage underwater

The condition of some timbers continues to challenge archaeologists. Some timbers of the hull have lost stability due to the high pH value of the lime and are very fragile. In order to be able to transport them to the deck in one piece, the divers have converted this gangway into a transport frame. Auxiliary structures made of plastic decking planks are also used.
